DENSOLEN®-HT100 Primer is an integral component of the DENSOLEN®-AS40 HT high temperature tape system and is applied as a primer before the wrapping process to the metallic surface and the adjacent factory coating. The butyl rubber-based primer offers optimal adhesion of the DENSOLEN®-AS40 HT to the surface, especially at temperatures of up to +100°C (+212°F). It significantly improves the peel strength and the resistance to cathodic disbondment, both on the metal surface and on the factory coating.
