Protective tape system for permanent protection of steel and cast iron pipes. The flexible modular system allows you to combine tapes of different thicknesses.

- PALIMEX®-880/-855 is a protective tape system for the permanent protection of buried steel and cast iron pipes.
- The co-extruded two-layer plastic tapes are comprised of a stabilised polyethylene carrier material and a butyl rubber coating.
- PALIMEX®-880/-855 forms a highly insulating coating around the pipe. Suitable tape thicknesses can be combined for easy application even around bends and moulded parts.
PALIMEX®-880/-855 : Industries and solutions
PALIMEX®-880/-855 is used on pipelines (oil, gas, water), particularly under extreme mechanical loads, for welded seam coating, pipe coating and rehabilitation. PALIMEX®-880 was developed to guarantee strong adhesion and outstanding flexibility on surfaces. UV-resistant PALIMEX®-855 protects the casing against mechanical stress. Suitable tape thicknesses can be combined for easy application even around bends and moulded parts, for example.
