DENSO – The pioneer in corrosion prevention

Over a century ago, DENSO developed the world's first passive corrosion prevention system for pipelines – and the DENSO-tape (petrolatum tape) quickly became a synonym for all tapes of this type. Nowadays, the company is a renowned manufacturer of innovative passive corrosion prevention technology, offering solutions ranging from weld seam coatings for new pipelines to complete pipeline coatings, renovation of existing pipelines and new pipeline sections. Since 1927, millions of metres of our tape solutions have been successfully applied to protect pipelines against corrosion.

DENSOLEN®-AS40 Plus/-R20 HT
DENSOLEN®-AS40 Plus/-R20 HT

Our DENSOLEN®-PE/butyl tapes and mastics are proven solutions for permanent corrosion prevention on pipes, weld seams and moulded parts in new installations or rehabilitation projects. DENSOLEN® tapes can be applied without tools and are self-amalgamating, with the fused layers forming a water and oxygen-tight protective hose.

DENSO®-Plast
DENSO®-Plast

Our DENSO® petrolatum tapes and mastics provide reliable long-term corrosion protection for metallic surfaces and constructions. The permanent plastic tapes are highly flexible, while the mastics effectively fill cavities to provide protection from the inside.

DEKOTEC®-HTS70
DEKOTEC®-HTS70

Our DEKOTEC® heat shrinkable sleeves provide reliable protection for weld seams on pipelines. The sleeves are of exceptionally high quality and are easy and quick to apply.

DENSOLID®-HDD
DENSOLID®-HDD

Our high-performance DENSOLID® polyurethane coatings can be applied using a brush or sprayed on, providing the ideal protection for buried pipelines and components. DENSOLID® products are ideal for coating weld seams during trenchless installation, as they possess high abrasion and shear strength.

VivaxCoat®
VivaxCoat®

VivaxCoat® is applied directly to wet pipelines that are situated in areas where humidity is high, which causes a film of moisture (condensate) on pipes. The coating can even be applied while pipes are under load, so there is no need for costly waiting periods while pipes are taken out of service.
