DENSO®-Tape HT
Petrolatum tape for reliable corrosion protection at high operating temperatures, especially on wet surfaces.
This product is confirmed as H2-ready.
- For temperatures of -50°C (-58°F) to +110°C (+230°F).
- Fulfils ISO 21809-3 (11A) and EN 12068 (A 100).
- In combination with DENSO®-AQ Primer HT, it is ideal for wet surfaces.
- Rust removal with a wire brush is adequate.
- Free of solvent and odour.
DENSO®-Tape HT is a corrosion protection tape for use at high temperatures of up to +110°C (+230°F) and is ideal for wet surfaces in combination with DENSO®-AQ Primer HT. It fulfils ISO 21809-3 (11A) and EN 12068 (A 100).
The tape consists of a robust two-layered polyester non-woven material and a petrolatum-based corrosion protection mastic. The latter has a very high drip point and gives the tape excellent adhesion. As a component of the corrosion protection system VivaxCoat®-HT, DENSO®-Tape HT is ideal for coating pipelines with wet surfaces (condensate film) and in areas with high temperatures.

DENSO®-Tape HT is used for field joint coatings of pipelines and for fittings, e.g. at power stations and for station construction. Thanks to the high temperature resistance, it will also guarantee you reliable corrosion protection and a long lifetime in warmer regions such as the Middle East and Central America.
